SURFACE TENSIONS -  is a ghost story for the connected age. Created by  Rosalind Paradis  in collaboration with Lorne Svarc  Presented at  BETWEEN SPACES  Parsons Design and Technology Thesis Showcase  An interactive narrative installation where users may influence the dinner conversation of an unseen couple.  As the story unfolds, tensions between the couple are manipulated by the user’s interaction with the space, creating a unique performance between system and user. This installation dynamically merges environmental sensor data, scripted language and system logic to achieve a responsive theatrical performance.
